About Department
- The goal of the department of Physics is to provide a friendly and supportive environment where students can feel free to communicate with faculty members and learn through more advanced and futuristic methods
In addition to the central library the department of Physics has its own library to facilitate their students. Department of Physics has the capability to accommodate 35 students
Along with teaching, department’s faculty members are actively engaged in research. The department’s research interests span across the broad areas of Condensed Matter Physics and Material Sciences. The research works here are more focused towards nanomagnetism, spintronics, magnonics, time-resolved ultrafast spin dynamics, Material characterization, Electrospinning Technique for Nanofiber preparation, Piezoelectric Energy Harvester, Piezoelectric sensor, Self-powered Electronics, Bio-signal monitoring.
