Cultural Activities


The fund was instituted with the purpose of providing financial subsidy to poor and meritorious students, not only in paying tuition and Examination Fees but also to help them in purchasing expensive Text Books and in meeting Medical Expenses for treatment of specific ailments.


Economically less privileged but meritorious students are allowed full or part concession in respect of Tuition fee and lab charges after admission to the College. The applicant’s financial status, performance in Examinations and attendance, his / her behavior and manners are reviewed to determine eligibility. The discretion of the College authority in this respect is final.


Educational Tours for the students are organized by departments concerned with the approval of the authority. Every year Geography, Botany and Zoology departments arrange educational tours / field surveys for the students. Participation in field surveys stipulated in the U.G. curriculum of C.U. is mandatory for students.


By utilizing the grant received from University Grants Commission (UGC), Remedial coaching is provided free for students belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer) and Minority communities. General students can also avail of the coaching on payment of a nominal fee. Coaching has been given to first, second and third year students of all streams. Classes are held outside college hours i.e. from, 8:30 A.M to 10:30A.M and 5:15 PM to 7:15 P.M the coaching has proved to be very popular among the students.


By utilizing the grant received from University Grants Commission (UGC), Govt. Service entry level coaching is provided for students to equip them for facing competitive examination like SSC, Banking, RRB, School Service Commission etc.

The coaching is free for students belonging to SC/ST/OBS (Non creamy layer) and Minority communities General Students can avail of the coaching on payment of nominal fee.
